Banana & Strawberry Smoothie

4 - 6 large glasses

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of low fat milk
  • I banana, chopped roughly
  • ½ punnet strawberries, hulls removed and chopped roughly
  • ¼ cup low fat vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 tbs honey

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor
  2. Blend or process until all fruit is finely chopped.
  3. Strain to remove large prices of fruit if necessary.
  4. Serve chilled.

Notes:

  • This makes a great after school snack and older children can make it with supervision.
  • If you prefer you can use ice cream rather than yoghurt.
  • This recipe is lovely and creamy, my kids absolutely love it!
